A common girl with apparently nothing to hide faced something quite vicious which scared her to the core. She happens to be seventeen years of age and she still lives in the fear of the past. The friends and the family members that are around Sara don’t know that she is somehow connected to the world beyond their imagination.
She has been blessed with the special gift of power which she cannot use because she does not know that she possesses that thing. Then while exploring some secrets linked to the death of her father, Sara brings herself under the shadow of the rope. An ancient vampire was actually looking for her and now he knows her hideout.
Nikolas also meets Sara on the way and he tells her that it is his duty to protect her whether she likes it or not. Rogue and Refuge type of situation starts as the troubles start to mount up. Karen Lynch starts bringing out the secrets when the story reaches halfway. Not only Sara is able to use her powers but she also gets surprised to see that her friends were also hiding a lot of things from her.
Together they unite to form a team that can fight against the ancient vampire. Caitlin Greer likes narrating vampire tales and the narrator can give a good quality voice to the supernatural forces. Not only Sara and her friends rather the vampire as well have been given the voice which has helped the character a lot.
