Queen of the Darkness is the third chapter of Black Jewels novel series. This science fiction and fantasy title are written by Anne Bishop. She is an American author of fantasy fiction. She rose the ranks after winning the prestigious Crawford Award for the first three Jewel Books in 2000. Daughter of the Blood is one of the books from the trilogy and it is a very good one. You will also like her writing in the Written in Red novel.
The audio narration of this chapter is done by John Sharian. It is not just this novel but John Sharian is outstanding throughout the subject series with his performance. He was excellent at doing all of the different voices for different characters.
Jaenelle Angelline is the prime character of this story who reigned as the Queen-protector within the Shadow Realm. The corrupt Blood slaughter no longer would slaughter any of her people and defile any of her lands. However, where you will find one chapter ending, there will always be an ultimate and an unseen battle that remains to be written. Moreover, Jeanelle Angelline must look forward to unleashing all of the terrifying powers which are Witch to destruct all of her enemies.
She was not able to stand alone. Daemon was somewhere long lost, who was her promised Consort. It will only be her unyielding love that would actually complete her Court and at the same time, secure her reign as well. Queen of the Darkness is a very tempting book and you might love to listen to it over and over again. This is all because of the powerful writing by Anne Bishop and then an exceptional vocal performance by John Sharian.
