This is the second time when Janet Evanovich and Lee Goldberg have come together for the same series that they created together a while ago. The main characters starring in the novel are FBI agent Kate and the con artist Nicholas Fox. Fox deceived Kate in the previous episode and now she wants to take him down permanently. She knows that she can arrest him because she knows him better than anyone else in the world.
On the other hand, Fox is not worried at all because for him all of these things are like a big game. Chicago penthouse is the next target of Nicholas Fox as he is going to rob the entire cash on the day when the owner will be busy with the marriage party. Kate is sure that Fox is coming for this kind of big money and she would be waiting for him right next to this big treasure.
So all she had to do in that situation would be to put handcuffs on this con artist for the first and last time. The confidence which is seen in Kate in this episode was not there in the characters in the novel such as Visions of Sugar Plums.
Kate thinks that the wedding planner is actually Nicolas Fox and she has to convince everyone of the thing before getting her hands on the man. It is more like Dangerous Minds where no one is ready to believe what the main character is saying. Scott Brick narrates another scintillating episode of the series in which the two best in their field collide and there would be only one winner.
