Adam Grant does not write books all of a sudden rather he has a proper purpose behind a thought that he describes in front of the audience. The books are not an outburst of thoughts. There is a proper mechanism through which the author collects material for the book and then he designs that material in a proper way for the audience.

Most of such books are narrated by Grant on his own and it depicts his intentions of presenting the material in the right way. From the title don’t think of it as a fantasy book like Two for Joy because it is not going to take you to another world. Everything which the author has written in this book is about the real world and there is a proper guideline for those who want to understand power.

For his own understanding, Grant went to the World Economic Forum in Davos because he wanted to be with the visionary people of the world. He wanted to understand their view about power and potential. After the end of the entire thing, Grant went to different people and took their interviews for the material of this book.

He has put those interviews in this book so that people can listen to the CEO’s of different firms directly and understand what they have in mind about power. This is not a very difficult thing to understand and when you listen to different interviews, you will realize that the theme behind the thoughts of these visionary minds is the same. All good minds think alike and if we want success then we should also start thinking and acting in the same way.
