Flying Dutchman flies in outer space to protect the earth and as long as the ship is there in the outer rim there is no trouble for the humans. The humans have relied on this single ship since the alien attacks started. No alien ship has ever been able to pass the eyes of the Flying Dutchman. The crew assures the people on earth that no harm will ever come to them as long as they are on the defense line.
The UN gives the Flying Dutchman a different kind of mission this time; mission is not related to the protection of the earth or fighting with the aliens. UN Expeditionary Force went on the planet called Paradise and now no news about the crew has arrived yet to the base. Experts on earth think that the crew is either lost or is killed on the way; the Flying Dutchman is given the mission to locate the missing crew.
Flying Dutchman starts towards Paradise and they never expected to find such a nightmare kind of situation on the planet. Craig Alanson in Columbus Day talked about alien attacks and conspiracies but none of the incidents were full of horror like this. Breakaway was also narrated by R.C. Bray as he has been working as the official narrator for the series.
here in particular the narrator has shown a special type of interest that only the regular listeners can detect. Bonding of the narrator was somehow better than usual in this part of the series. Bray hasn’t ignored even the minor aspects of this visit to paradise. So get ready to visit a paradise full of demons.
