No one can change fate and most people take it as a negative thing but it is actually not. It is something that is taking us on the right track but there are certain steps or obstacles on the way which sometimes make us disappointed. If we don’t get disappointed and keep on the journey then one day we will achieve our destination with a happy ending.

There are three characters in this story by Josie Silver and two of them can be taken as the primary characters who fall in love instantly but are not able to unite for a very long time. Eleanor Tomlinson and Charlie Anson narrate the first few chapters in a casual tone because nothing special happens initially.

Laurie the girl who gets introduced in the beginning is the kind who is not looking for true love because she does not believe in it at all. She thinks that it is a waste of time because such sentimental things don’t exist in the real world. Then on one occasion, Laurie sees a man from the window of the bus and her heart at once starts beating for him. One Night on the Island comes to the mind of the old fans during this scene but later the two lovers don’t get united.

Laurie keeps on looking for that mysterious man but she fails to find him. Then Laurie’s friend Sarah introduces her to Jack who was the same man Laurie saw that night. Jack was in relation with Sarah at that time thus a different type of story continues among these three characters who are not sure about their fate.
