Occupation

Occupation is the first chapter in the Rise novel series which is a work of science fiction and fantasy. It is written by Devon C. Ford and Nathan Hystad. Devon is an excellent British novelist of science fiction, fantasy ad post-apocalyptic novels. After It Happened is one of his best science fiction novels and so is his Traitor.

The audio narration of the book is done by Ray Porter. He is a seasoned and top-quality narrator. His performance for the Occupation novel was loved by one and all.

Alec was the one working in the Overseer factories of Detroit. The target was to build a mysterious kind of alien device. When the three strangers surfaced up, then he was provided with a great opportunity to escape after many years of servitude.

Cole was a Freeborn loner. He came across Lina after her entire village was destructed due to alien Occupation. They set off on an arduous journey together which was headed towards a fabled safe zone. They both were trying very hard to stay a step ahead of the drones of the enemy on their trail.

Dex on the other side was a hunter. He was employed for the Occupation to hunt down the slaves of the escaped factory. He was determined to do that at any given cost. However, the latest hunt by him uncovered a huge secret. It also threatened his loyalty towards the Overseers.

Their fates are intertwined. A secret enclave known as the Reclaimers for the first time in many decades was all set to make their next move.

This novel will be a very entertaining experience and it should not be missed at all.
