Not Pretending Anymore is a contemporary romance novel. The book is coauthored by Penelope Ward and Vi Keeland. They both collaborated on several occasions to give excellent contemporary romance stories. They have also written as individual writers. Toe the Line is a brilliant book that Penelope Ward has written as the only writer. Drunk Dial is another fantastic book that Penelope Ward has written.

The audio narration of Not Pretending Anymore is done by Erin Mallon and Sebastian York. You cannot expect these two narrators to go wrong with their performances. Once again, they gave a thumping performance and didn’t disappoint their followers.

Finding a good roommate and that too through a classified ad is nothing an easy thing to have. I soon started to lose hope in the process. But things changed when I had a knock at my door. God answered my prayers, but those were the wrong prayers answered. Declan Tate was the one who talked me into interviewing him. While he was charismatic and amusing. I wouldn’t have been comfortable at all to live with a man whom I so regretfully declined. Then I found cupcakes at my door, which were supposedly freshly baked by Declan, and were just as delicious as he was.

It was not like I didn’t have any other better candidate. In addition, I was more interested in someone else. And Declan on the other side was the one into another woman. So, it was not like anything would simply happen automatically. After he moved in, the two of us turned into the best of friends.

Not Pretending Anymore is a refreshing romance novel. You will enjoy the story and the way the characters developed.
