Adam was in a relationship with Mercy after his divorce in this eighth part of the series. Thus when Christy came to Adam’s house, Mercy thought that it was a bit strange but she knew that Adam was in a habit of helping those in need. Soon Mercy felt that Christy had her own agenda to fulfill as well. While staying in his house of Adam, his ex-wife wanted to have him back in his life which means that she wants to kick Mercy out of the equation.

It was not that much easy task because Mercy also likes challenges and she is not going to lose without a fight. Meanwhile, the killer is on the loose and Mercy thinks that she should solve that problem first before coming to the issue of Adam. Patricia Briggs’ Bone Crossed and Silence Fallen is ready to enter into the collection of the fans of this story.

Such stories always move on two levels, one is the personal level while the other deals with the major theme attached to the story. In the narration done by Lorelei King, the listener will never be able to find any kind of discrepancy and this proves the commitment of the narrator for sure.
