Mordacious is a post-apocalyptic science fiction romance novel. It is the first entry in The City Series which is written by Sarah Lyons Fleming. She is known for writing fantasy, romance, and post-apocalyptic horror novels. One of the best books of the author to mention here is World Between. Another outstanding book by Sarah Lyons Fleming that caught a lot of eyes and ears is Until the End of the World.
The audio narration of Mordacious is done by Luke Daniels and Therese Plummer. The story is played from a dual point of view and these two male and female narrators did full justice to it.
Sylvie Rossi had the much longer thing right down pat, but with the only exception of Grace, her dearest friend. But the time when the two were trapped in a hospital during the very last gasp of a city that was dying, time alone was no longer a possible option. An offer of a nurse of sanctuary promised Sylvie all the supplies that she needed to survive against the zombies. It was the coexisting with the people that might just do her in.
Eric Forrest was determined to do whatever it takes to get right into the dead city for the sake of his sister, including ending up dead himself. He was always used to taking risks, but with every other mile he travelled, death looked much closer. Moreover, finding his sister might be his only prospect for survival, only if he could make it back home safely.
Mordacious is a feel-good type of zombie apocalypse. Everything about this book is good and you must try it.
