Modern Romance is a politics & social sciences-related nonfiction book. It is written and narrated by the duo of Aziz Ansari and Eric Klinenberg. Aziz is an American comedian, actor, filmmaker, and writer. Eric on the other side is a sociologist and also a scholar of urban studies.

Aziz Ansari and Eric Klinenberg as the narrator of Modern Romance did a pretty exciting job and made it a very pleasant audiobook experience for the followers.

At some point in life, all of us embark on a journey for discovering true love. We meet people, like them and date, and then get into relationships. We do all of this with the hope to find someone with whom we could have a very strong and deep connection. This looked to be the standard now but it is quite different from those people who existed a few decades ago. The single people of today seem to have a lot of romantic options than any other group of people in entire human history. Technology has helped us in that regard and we maximize that to connect with people to find love or our soulmate. But the question is why a lot of people are so much frustrated today.

It is because the problems that we face today are unique to our specific era. We make big issues out of small things which were not even relevant or considered by the people of the past.

Technology alone couldn’t explain the transformation of our lives. The entire culture of finding love in a short period has changed drastically. Just a few decades ago, people used to marry around the age of 24 and get a baby soon as well. Today, the majority of people tend to marry much later and spend a good part of their lives finding the ideal person for themselves.
