Lorn

Vampires and Lycans are two different breeds and in Laurann Dohner’s books, we come face to face with a new breed known as the VampLycans. These half-breed creatures have in them the best of both species and that’s why they have the potential to do odd things. Savannah Richards narrates the female named Kira present in the novel. Kira is also a half-breed but there is a difference i.e her mother was a human. Sadly the traits of her mother dominated in her and she is unable to shapeshift.

Because of this issue, the clan of VampLycans rejects her and even loathes her because she is like an abnormal species to them. With nowhere to go Kira decides to move on with a heavy heart because she is sure that she will not find a mate now. Though the clan rejected her but living in the place was not easy for her, she waited until Decker who happens to be the leader of the clan is not present clan.

But there is also a big change coming in the absence of Decker i.e Lorn is forced to become the leader of the clan. Lorn didn’t like the post but to save Kira’s life he takes on a strong stance and decides not to back down.

Heroes were there in Brawn and Justice: New Species, Book 4 but an intense lover in the form of Lorn is surely one of a kind thing. Lorn is not that powerful but he just becomes mad with rage when he sees Kira in danger. He is well aware that if he does not take one big step then he will lose Kira forever.
