Kitchen Confidential

Everyone likes going to the hotel or a restaurant once in a while, it seems to be a healthy activity because all you have to do is to eat and not cook anything. When you are being served in a hotel, it is the most charming thing because you are being treated as a guest. The way the hotel staff serves is more like a ritualistic thing. However, not many people bother to look at how that food is cooked behind the closed doors of the kitchen.
Anthony Bourdain has vast experience linked to the kitchens of different hotels. Here the author starts telling us what really happens when the door of the kitchen is closed in a hotel. The book is not a criticism of the hotels rather the author has narrated everything in a light hearted way so that we can enjoy it.

Kitchen Confidential and A Chef’s Christmas were narrated by the author in the past and perhaps he got the idea from these two books after which he wrote this entire book on his own. Anthony even worked as a dishwasher in a hotel once and the experience was really a complex one.

Not many people know about the kitchens in this way and even if they know, they might not be able to describe them in the same humorous way as the author has done. Every character of the kitchen and every aspect linked to it just turns out to be of so much fun through the help of this book. Don’t keep any negative vibes in your heart and mind during the listening of this book as it does not tells us anything negative that might affect your appetite.
