Iron & Blood

Iron & Blood is the second chapter in The Expansion Wars Trilogy. It is a science fiction book which is written by Mark Joshua Dalzelle. The author has been the bestselling one and his books are worth investing your time in. If you are looking forward to more books from the author then To Hell and Back should be the first one on your reading list, after the subject title of course. After that, his No Quarter novel will also make a great read.

Mark Boyett is ranked very highly among the best narrators that we have today. His performance in this novel was undoubtedly great and something that you will cheer for a long time. The planet Earth has been invaded. The mysterious Dark deployed the forces on a frontier world and started subduing the main cities. This was the case even when their blockade repelled all of the attempts made by the fledgling United Terran Federation to initiate a counteroffensive.

The military command of the Federation was desperate. Their fleet was still in tatters and they made their last effort to do something for the freedom of the human planet. They employed Captain Jackson and gave him the command of a ship which they were expecting to get them through the defending armada. They had to provide them support reaching out to the civilians and the Marines who were fighting hard on the surface of the world.

This is a very good book with a tempting story. You will find yourself completely immersed in it and its characters. This was made even more exciting with the spectacular audio performance by Mark Boyett.
