In His Father’s Footsteps

Every book which Danielle Steel comes up with gives us a notion that the author has given her everything to this book and there would be no creativity left. This is completely incorrect by all means as each time the author creates a new book it appears to be better than the previous one. This is because of the fact that creativity never disappears when it comes to Steel.

She is one of those authors who has a thinking mood and she wants her listeners to remain in that mood as well. Dan John Miller is a good narrator by all means and he has proved his worth too through this book which does not possess even a single pause in it because Miller has not allowed such a thing to appear. Those who felt the sensation in Past Perfect are bound to get the double dosage in this installment.

This is the story post World War era in which different people are trying to get their life back on track. Among those survivors, there are two characters who have fallen in love with each other since the start of the war. They were waiting for the war to end after which they could start a life of their own. Now they struggle hard to get their life on track at the same time they provide their son hope and the facilities which are needed to make his life better.

Years later when the son turns into an adult he faces troubles of his own and he thinks that following the footsteps of his father is the right thing to do if he wants to become successful. The situation in the story might not be as charming as it was in Beautiful but there is a lot to learn for all of us.
