In a Holidaze

In a Holidaze is a romantic comedy novel. It is written by Christina Lauren. This is an American author duo of teen fiction, romance fiction, and contemporary fiction novels. Josh and Hazel’s Guide to Not Dating is another good one from Christina Lauren and so is Love and Other Words.

Patti Murin has done the narration of In a Holidaze novel. The voice of the narrator was slightly monotonous, but it wouldn’t be a huge distraction. It was supposed to be the most wonderful time of the year but not so much for Maelyn Jones. She was living with her parents and used to hate her stagnant job. On top of that, she also made a romantic error of a huge scale.

Worst of all, this was supposed to be the very last Christmas for which Maelyn would be at her favorite place in the world. The snowy cabin in Utah was the one she along with her family spent every holiday since her birth, along with a couple of other beloved families. She was melting down mentally as she moved away from the cabin for the final time. Maelyn threw out what she thought to be a very simple plea to the universe.

The very next thing she could recall was the screeching of tires and metals colliding. Then everything goes dark. When she woke up, she was on an airplane going to Utah, and she started with her same favorite holiday all over again. Maelyn had to figure out how to free herself from the strange time loop. In a Holidaze is a light-hearted romance story with good humor. This book will make an enjoyable read on a holiday.
