Iced

With scintillating voices of Phil Gigante and Natalie Ross this first book about Dani opens with fight scenes everywhere. It is not the world which was once safe for human beings as the Dark Fae has descended in. With magic and treachery coming to the land, the world is not a safe place for the humans anymore. Most of them have perished and some who have survived are just waiting for their death which will come to them sooner or later. However there are those rare ones like Dani who have a sword to fight against their enemies. Dani is a girl with unimaginable skills and there are some around her who think that she can even confront Prince Unseelie if she has to. Because of this the prince has set high price on her head in order to close her chapter forever. Her best friend MacKayla Lane has turned against her because he too wants the prize money from the prince.

The police of the town want her sword for no reason; she is confused because she has been helping the police department in the past. Then there is another maniac who is freezing the people of the town. Karen Marie Moning after presenting all these troubles in the novel introduces a helper or supporter for Dani in the form of Ryodan. Roydan is the owner of a club and he too wants to find out the one behind the freeze ray issue. This is something equal to Bloodfever and Darkfever. One unique thing in the novel is not the freeze ray or the sword it is the bounty set on Dani’s head. The Prince Unseelie behaves so much like the humans after setting the prize money.
