Ice & Blood is a science fiction and fantasy novel. It is the opening title in Frostworld Series which is authored by Blake Arthur Peel. Arthur is well into the writing of LitRPG adventures along with fantasy and science fiction stuff. If you are a fan of such novels then it will be a good idea to further explore the literary archives of Blake Arthur Peel. There you will find Honor & Iron, Frostworld Series, and Book 2 as one of his best works. Fall of Radiance is another worth mentioning book that the subject author has written.
Jarl Beckstrom wanted to become a big warrior one day. Unfortunately, he had the hard luck of being from the lowborn class and that denied him big time to level up. He lived the life of a poor farmer who was subject to the whims associated with the notorious magical fireborn and the battle born. But as per the legends, the deeds of supreme courage could well change the class and caste of a person.
However, there was plenty of darker stuff stirring deep in the frozen wilderness of Frostworld. Things ahead would be extremely challenging and risky for Jarl.
The book came in 2021 and it was believed to be one of the best books of the year within its category of fantasy LitRPG. You will love it from different aspects, while the narration of the book is exceptional as well.
The audio narration of the Ice & Blood novel is done by Neil Hellegers. He is a very smart and talented narrator, and his narration in this audio novel is par excellence.
In Frostworld, only the stronger ones could survive.
