Noah Michael Levine and Erin DeWard paired up for the narration of this audiobook. It was an amazing performance as they both had a wide variety of voices which they delivered with full conviction.

Victoria Morgan was a Marine earlier and then became a black ops agent. She knew it pretty well that the military is where she actually belongs. But, her life changed with a bullet of a sniper. She rescued one man from the abductors and tried to prove that she has not washed up. That young man then transformed all of a sudden into a cougar and gave her a bite. This was then she learned all about a completely new hidden society. He literally begged her to go and inform about his death to his grandfather. He also asked to keep well the secret of the existence of the shifters. She was not able to refuse him. But, what if those creatures pose a real threat to the country which she vowed to defend?

The supernatural characters in this romantic fantasy are fantastic. You will be able to find some ancient beliefs and mythologies in this. The author did a brilliant job in writing the suspense and romance so well in this novel.
