Hold On

Hold On is a contemporary romance novel. It is the sixth chapter in The ‘Burg novel series. The book is written by Kristen Ashley. She is a bestselling American author of more than 75 books. Her work has been translated into 14 different languages and more than three million copies of her books have been sold worldwide. A couple of her books have been adapted into films and one of them is The Girl in the Woods. Another book that did quite well for Kristen Ashley and her fans is Wild Man.

The audio narration of Hold On done by Erin Bennett is perfect. She was spot on with the intonations. You will find her at the top of her narration game voicing both the male and female characters.

Cher Rivers long knew that she was not the type of girl who would get what she wanted. She was a girl who could hope and dream. She knew very well that a happily after was not the thing on the cards for her. In love for several years with the last bastion of Garett Merrick, the most eligible burg’s bachelor, Cher worked quite hard at making him laugh. Having him in her life looked to be the only possible way she could. All this was the case while knowing that he was in love with another woman.

The Maverick family was known well for loving deeply. So, when Cecelia Merrick was murdered, it marked the Merricks in a way that none of them could recover from. Hold On is an excellent addition to the series which will continue to explore it further and enjoy some other exciting novels.
