Ghostmaker

Ghostmaker is the second book in the Gaunt’s Ghosts novel series. This science fiction novel is written by Dan Abnett. He is a brilliant writer of novels and as well as comic books. If you are looking for some good novels from the author in the science fiction genre then try out his Horus Rising. Apart from this, First and Only is another superb novel by the author.

The audio narration of Ghostmaker is done by Toby Longworth. He is a top-class narrator and his voice made this novel and its characters so appealing to the ears.

Among all of the different regiments of Militarum who battled in the Sabbat Worlds Crusade, there were a few who were celebrated as the Tanith First and Only – Gaunt’s Ghosts. Their tragic origins with time got revealed along with their earliest battles.

Colonel-Commissar Ibram on Monthax along with his Tanith First and Only awaited for the direction to progress right into the sweltering jungle. They drove out the alien elder from the planet. As the war approached, Gaunt walked over the lines and raised the spirit of his men along with recalling their heroic deeds. Gaunt also remembered the tragedies which dodged the Gaunt’s Ghosts from the moment of founding the lost Tanith. That was the day when Gaunt became the Ghostmaker.

You will enjoy this one while listening to the actual origins of the Gaunt’s Ghosts. You will also witness the Tanith First and Only which were put right through the winger. All this was the case when they managed to overcome the destruction of their homeworld and fought hard with all the forces of Chaos.
