Gateway to War

Gateway to War is a science fiction and fantasy novel. It is the third chapter of the Ruins of the Galaxy novel series which is authored by Christopher Hopper and J. N. Chaney. Christopher is the #1 bestselling author of more than 25 novels and a few short stories as well. Chaney, the coauthor of this novel and the series on the other hand is also a bestselling author in USA Today. They have written several exciting novels together where Ruins of the Earth is one of them. Another delightful science fiction novel from the duo is Gods and Men.

The narration of Gateway to War novel is beautifully done by R. C. Bray and you will enjoy it.

Lt. Magnus managed to survive the traumatic rescue of his unit but only to discover himself charged with treason. He was charged by the military to which he had vowed his allegiance. He must try then to aide Piper to the Luma before the dark forces find out about her otherworldly abilities.

Magnus once there discovered himself antagonizing a few new foes in the place where he least expected to discover them. Awe in the meanwhile uncovered a fresh plot that threatened to topple the order right through the galaxy. She along with Magnus found their way to some alien world in the galaxy where they must look to build a new force together. This would come through the warriors’ ruins who were loyal to the galactic freedom cause.

The book is good but not the best one from the subject series. The only issue is that it is completely focused on the weakest known character of the series. As compared to the first two books, those were much better than this one in terms of the storyline and characterization.
