Actually, the book is a real masterpiece that is handled by Nathan Lowell in the best way. This third part of the series is really given everything which could make it more sensational than The Hermit of Lammas Wood and The Wizard’s Butler. Ishmael and the crew were given a rather simple assignment but something went wrong and their entire task was ruined.
Now they plan to get to the bottom of the thing so that they can analyze that who or what was behind the issue. In order to keep the ship alive, they have to complete the job in time because things are slipping away really fast. Jeffrey Kafer has narrated in a high tone to describe the situation more clearly to all of us. If the ship goes down then the entire crew will also lose their lives.
Moreover, the hope for humanity will end in smoke and the crew of the ship will be considered responsible. So fast action is needed to keep hope and Lois alive for humanity. The captain of the ship i.e Ishmael starts everything from the first step and the investigation provides him a chance to realize where he has gone wrong during the campaign.
Perhaps he has not been playing by the rules and his teammates were not fully satisfied with him. It was dues to this miscommunication that the assignment remained incomplete and the ship received a heavy blow. Now if everything is recollected in time then the fate of the world could be secured.
