Frostblood

Fireblood and Frostblood used to have an equal share in the rule but it was a long time ago. When Ruby opened her eyes in the world she was told that the Frostblood have gained control over everything and being a Fireblood is like a sin now. Ruby happens to be a Fireblood so her mother hid her from the rest of the world so that she can protect her from the deadly fangs of the king.

Then in an incident, her mother gets killed and she is forced to use her powers against the enemy. The rebels notice her powers and they bring her into their group as they prepare to take down the cruel king. She starts her training because the time is slipping out of everyone’s hands. Before she could take part in the rebellion movement, she is arrested by the soldiers of the king and she is taken to the arena for the tournament.

Here the Fireblood compete with the champions of the Frostblood and perish while trying to save their life. Ruby takes it as a chance to get closer to her target and though she had not completed her training, she thinks that she can take down a few champions if she tries.

Jennifer English’s classic way of narrating a story has improved the impression of this series much further. Make your mind ready to digest more because Elly Blake has Nightblood and Fireblood in stock. In these books, there is more information about elemental magic which the fans will love to hear. Bloodshed is not there at the beginning but the audience can smell danger coming ahead.
