Forging Divinity

Andrew Rowe puts godhood on sale which is comic to even hear and then the story after a few chapters become serious. Thus it goes against the expectation of many listeners who select this book as a book full of comedy and other stuff like that.

Orlyn is the city where one can purchase immortality but this is not the only thing that this strange city possesses. There are other strange gifts too which the people of this land possess. For example, Lydia Hastings the new woman in the town has the power to extract information out of anything whether it is a living soul or a nonliving object. She can just tell the whole thing about an object by just touching it once.

Till now she has not revealed her powers to anyone because she is on a mission that needs her to keep her identity hidden. If her cover is blown then her life would come under threat and her mission will also get spoiled. Lydia is the only one who knows that war is coming and it can only be stopped if she can save the life of the leader of the pantheon who is behind bars.

The narration by Nick Podehl is good but the voice suits the male characters more still we cannot raise any issue in terms of voice quality anywhere. The Torch That Ignites the Stars and Six Sacred Swords are well suited to the listeners who are attracted to mysterious fantasies. The godhood concept was new in this book as such a thing is never found in literature or fantasy before this one.
