For We Are Many is the second book in the Bobiverse novel series. It is beautifully authored by Dennis E. Taylor. He was a former computer programmer and then turned his focus toward novel writing. This Canadian writer has done exceptionally with his writing in large-scale hard science fiction novels. His stories are known to explore the significant interaction between the human condition and artificial intelligence. We Are Legion (We Are Bob) is a very good example of his book. Another novel by the author that you will surely enjoy is All These Worlds.

The audio narration of For We Are Many is done by Ray Porter and he gave a stellar performance. Bob Johansson has no belief at all in the afterlife. So, he was shocked to see himself waking up after he got killed in a horrific car accident. A further surprising thing was that he became a sentient kind of computer. He was then controlling all the intelligence for a probe by Von Neumann.

Bob and countless copies of his were spreading out from the planet Earth for nearly four decades. They were searching for planets that could be colonized. But that was believed to be the part of the plan only which was still intact in one piece. A war that was fought system-wide killed as many as 99.9% of the population of mankind. The Earth was quickly becoming uninhabitable due to the nuclear winter. There was a radical group out there who wanted to finish that given job on the remaining humanity. The Bobs on the other side found a special specie that was known to take and see the lives of others as food.

For We Are Many is the highly anticipated and much-awaited sequel of We Are Legion (We Are Bob). The followers of this book found this novel to be great fun.
