For the Wolf

For the Wolf is a science fiction and fantasy novel. It is written by Hannah Whitten. She started writing at a very early age and turned that passion into her profession quite early as well. It was a great decision by Hannah especially after you see novels like For the Throne attributed to her.

Ines del Castillo is the narrator of For the Wolf. The performance was mostly good apart from a few issues with pronunciations. The narrator struggled to make the sound of the letter: T most of the time in this novel.

Red was known as the only Second Daughter who was born many centuries. She only had one purpose in her life. It was about sacrificing to the Wolf who was in the Wood. All that was wanted in the hope that he would return to the captured gods of the entire world. Red in that situation was nearly so much relieved to go. She was plagued by a very risky power that she was having no control over at all. At least, she knew that within the Wilderwood she couldn’t hurt all of those whom she loved. But, the legends do lie. And the Wolf was a man and it was not a monster at all.

This time, the fans of the Bear and the nightingale would experience something dark in this sweeping novel. The story of this novel is just fine and nothing too much special about it. It lacked depth and to some extent substance as well. On top of that, the buildup between the characters was also lacking. But still, it was all good for the debut novel of a young author.
