This book is the second chapter of the series Septimus Heap. This series is written by the fantastic English writer Angie Sage. She is a phenomenal writer. She wrote most of her literature for kids. She is well known for her series Septimus Heap, the Armenta Spook, and The Tod Hunter Moon Trilogy. Her children’s literature is fantastic at all times. If you listen to her more fabulous books then do refer to her Magyk book. Her book Syren is also getting wonderful remarks from children and elders.

Gerard Doyle has narrated this novel with his stunning voice. He narrated many other novels with his euphonious voice. He got pleasant compliments for his voice.

As the author is interested in children’s stories so she has written this story for her small readers and listeners. The story is about how to survive dragon fostering. The main character of this story is a fair-haired boy who is a boatman. He reached the site where a man Necromancer does daniel drowned. He dislikes the people who always ignored him. According to his point of view, all of these people should say sorry to him for their misbehavior. He has a magical personality now. This boy has a brother who ran away after his breakup with a girl Sarah. Another character Jenna kidnaped by his brother. Now the time that the Septimus goes in search of Jenna.

Septimus, his elder brother, and Jenna go toward their aunt’s cottage where they take a dragon- boat and move to the castle. This boat can fly speedily. Simon loves Jenna and wants to see her happy. Jenna gave Septimus an egg of a dragon that hatches. The story takes a turn and becomes more fantasy.
