First Family is a Mystery novel. It is the fourth installment in the King and Maxwell novel series. The subject title and the series are written by David Baldacci who is an outstanding author of mystery thriller and suspense novels. One of his very best novels for the listeners to enjoy in audio is Long Shadows. Another novel by Baldacci that promises good entertainment for the audience is Simple Genius. The audio narration of the First Family novel is done by Ron McLarty. The performance was satisfactory and the listeners wouldn’t have any trouble finishing this audio title with ease.

The story of First Family is mainly set in Camp David, USA. A happening birthing party was taking place there which soon turned into a nightmare. All of this happened when a child from the venue was snatched once the birthday celebrations were completed.
The first lady in the aftermath asked the services of Michelle Maxwell and Sean King to rescue the child and bring him back home safely. But, she shared a past with Sean King. Several years ago, Sean King was the one who saved her then-husband from the total disaster of his political career. This might not be everything that the two shared between them.
Michelle on the other side was fighting her demons. Both of them were pushed to the limit while having the forces aligned against them on all sides. In that situation, the line between foe and friend was nearly impossible to define, or even defend.
