Firefly Lane

Firefly Lane Audiobook

If you are listening to or reading any book by Kristin Hannah then make sure that you get hold of the complete story till the end. There are always logical reasons behind the thoughts and the story moves quite naturally. At no point, the author has to add any kind of thing which would look out of this world.

The characters are of the type that we can find around us so it proves to be a way to understand ordinary human beings. Two girls named Kate and Tully are at the core of this story. The girls have nothing in common, still, they become friends and the bond seems to be inseparable. [Firefly Lane Audiobook]

Kate was a girl with an average personality and she was aware that she would never be able to rise high in her class and also in society. Her parents were not of the kind who would try to boast about her personality and that was the main reason because of why Kate never had any friends.

Then came Tully into the neighbourhood who had a sparkling personality and Kate was amazed to find that Tully wanted her friendship. The two girls became friends and their friendship lasted for almost three decades after which they finally reached to a point where they were jealous of each other. It is Susan Ericksen who narrated this jealously very well in this story. [Firefly Lane Audiobook]

The best of friends finally turn into enemies and that was really a painful thing for both of them. Fly Away and The Nightingale has twists in them but those twists are not that sharp. Here the entire structure of the story goes upside down when the friends turn into enemies.
