Fall from Grace

Most of the time when we have everything in our life then we start becoming afraid because we have so much to lose. However on the contrary when we lose everything we tend to become brave because we have nothing to lose at that stage in life. Danielle Steel’s primary character in the novel faces both kinds of situations in this story.

At first, Sydney had everything in her life including a loving husband who was able to provide her with all the luxuries of life. She thought that life was perfect for her and she didn’t have to worry about anything. When her husband died she was in a sad situation and she wasn’t expecting more grief to come her way. Her husband’s sudden death really made her sad and she wasn’t prepared for the will that he had left for her and the rest of the family.

The problem with the will was that Sydney’s husband didn’t mention her name in it. So Sydney got no share in the property and suddenly she was without money and a house. She thought for a while and then decided to join the fashion industry. Her daughter asked her not to enter the designer’s career but she didn’t listen to her because Sydney thought that she would be able to do better in that profession.

Soon Sydney found herself in court and then in prison because her boss framed her in a bad way. Sydney lost everything including her grace but she didn’t commit suicide rather she stood against the odds and started building her life from the ashes. The Mistress and The Whittiers are not narrated by Luis Moreno like this story still those two books are also outclassed by all means. This is the story that will provide a person hope and courage if he is feeling broken and lost in life.
