Eragon

Eragon is the first chapter in the Inheritance Cycle series. This book and the mentioned series are written by Christopher Paolini. He is a novelist and screenwriter from the USA. The Inheritance Cycle is his most acknowledged series with some exceptional novels. You will have a great literary time with the audio version of the Eldest novel of Christopher Paolini. Another novel by the author that deserves to be mentioned here is Brisingr. Both of these recommended novels are from The Inheritance Cycle series of the author and will make a fantastic literary experience in their respective audio versions.

The audio narration of Eragon is done by Gerard Doyle. The narrator ruined this excellent story. He made the female dragon sound so much annoying.

The story in this novel is of 15 years old Eragon who believed that he was just a poor farm boy. But things changed with his revelation as a Dragon Rider. Eragon was gifted with a loyal dragon, an ancient sword, and wise advice from some old storyteller. He was soon swept with a dangerous tapestry of power, magic, and glory. The choices he would make would either destroy or save the empire.

Eragon will prove to be a great listen for all the fans of Lord of the Rings as you will have a similar exciting feel that you had in that referred novel. This one is a story of Eragon, a dragon rider who was loved so much by the audience. More than 35 million copies of The Inheritance Cycle series have been sold all across the world and a good share of that goes to this Eragon title. This bestselling series in New York Times hit further beyond the USA and it is for sure an excellent, international-level fantasy sensation.

This book tells a phenomenal story but it got ruined in audio due to the inability of the voice artist to do the appropriate voicing for the female dragon. If you can get through this then you will enjoy this novel.
