Entice

Entice is the second book in the Violet Eden novel series. It is a work of science fiction and fantasy which is written by Jessica Shirvington. She is a prolific Australian writer. She is mainly known for her Embrace novel series, which is also known as The Violet Eden Chapters. If you want to give this author a go then do consider reading or listening to her Embrace novel. It will be a great literary treat. After this, you will also like her writing in Empower novel which also has its class apart.

The audio narration of Entice’s novel is done by Rebecca Macauley. She tried a lot of accents and some were annoying. Otherwise, it was a decent performance.

Entice is more of a fantasy romance thriller novel. It comes with some expansive ideas and deep-set mythology as well. Violet Eden was Grigori who was part human, part angel. Her destiny was to safeguard humans from the vengeance of many of the exiled angels. The key here was to know whom should be trusted. But, it became evident with the reinforcements of Grigori that everyone was having a secret that they were hiding. This also included Lincoln. One thing that Violet doesn’t know about Phoenix holding over her was a lot more dangerous than ever before. The race to find that one big thing could tilt the balance of power forever. It could take all of them to the sacred mountains in Jordan where the powers of Violet would be tested at their limit.

The book is enjoyable with its many twists and turns. It will be a great audiobook for teenagers, while adults could also enjoy it as well.
