Dovis is a science fiction romance novel. It is the second entry in the Vorge Crew novel series. The book is written by Laurann Dohner. She is an author of erotic, contemporary, and science fiction romance novels. She has also given bestsellers in NYT and USA Today. Kidnapping Casey novel of the author promises good entertainment. The same could also be said about the Brawn novel of the author.

The audio narration of Dovis novel is done by Summer Roberts. It was a perfect performance and you will like the tone and voice that Summer gave to the characters.

Mari had a tough childhood as she was sold into slavery at a very young age. She was raised on a vessel repair station. She grew up to become a top engineer. She, was quite surprised when her owner does not only grant her freedom but also helped in finding her a job aboard the Vorge. Mari was quite determined to impress her new crewmates and captain. It was perhaps the only way for her to remain free and safe from the hands of the other slavers. But there appeared to be no impressing for Dovis, who was the head of security of the ship.

Dovis was the one who finds the humans to be annoying and weak at the best of times. They don’t want to have another one on the Vorge, and more so a female who worked hard to make everybody else look lazy. He wanted Mari to be gone, but only until he met her. He found her shy and sweet. Dovis is a much more enjoyable book than the first chapter in the series. The characters will fascinate you and the story will captivate all the listeners.
