Double Take: An FBI Thriller, Book 11

A lot of stuff is going on in the thriller and there are multiple agents who are engaged in different missions. In the end, all of them find out that their missions are somehow interconnected and they must act as a single unit if they want to get to the real criminal. In the beginning, the two narrators Sandra Burr and Phil Gigante narrate the murder of August Ransom.

The wife of the man thought that she had lost everything along with her husband and it took her three years to forget about the incident. Finally, after a span of three years, Julia thought that she would be able to live happily again and while roaming on the road she gets attacked by a stranger. She might have died on the spot but agent Cheney Stone was there and he saved her life.

Stone reopened the case of August Ransom’s murder because he thought that the same killer has attacked Julia and if he is not caught then he will come for her again. Catherine Coulter adds another story in the main tale just like she did in The Cove.

The secondary story is about Sheriff Dixon who has lost his wife and now he comes to know that a woman with the face of his wife exists in the world. He just wants to see her face to soothe his heart one more time. Dillon and Lacey also join in the story later on and it turns into one big mission for the group of heroes. They must arrest the real murderer before he gets his hands on Julia and vanishes forever.
