Every book of the series by Kresley Cole shines like a gem in the fantasy world. These books are not only engaging but also provide the loving hearts with the feelings they crave for. The main demon in the tale is Malkom Slaine who has a broken heart because of which he has stopped taking interest in worldly desires.

His vampire nature does not excite him very much because of the losses which have ruined his life. A new lady with which he has established a strange relation has emerged as a new central figure of Malkom’s attraction but he is not sure that whether the relation is love or a temporary connection.

The more he goes closer to her the more he feels an unexplainable thirst taking on his mind and soul. A Hunger Like No Other: Immortals After Dark, Book 2, and Pleasure of a Dark Prince: Immortals After Dark, Book 9 category of hunger is seen here as well. Carrow Graie, the center of attraction for Malkom is also trying to hide her past from the new person in her life. But when the time comes she cannot hide anything from Malkom because he alone can help her and save her from the demons which are following her.

In order to deal with the demons that are after Carrow, the hero has to bring out the demon which is present in his body for a long time. Once the demon is out he would not be able to control himself and perhaps he would not be able to love Carrow in the same way. One way or the other Malkom is going to lose big time but he is not ready to go down without a fight.
