Humans spread all around the galaxy in the past and they thought that they were the only living specie in the world but they were wrong. Then they found out that there were other alien species as well who were better equipped as compared to them. The aliens were keeping an eye on the activities of the humans and they were quite well prepared for them too.

The humans fought hard and they succeeded on certain occasions too but the battle still continues. For the group of soldiers present on the planet they have named Paradise, there are other issues of great concern. This group landed on the planet Paradise because their ship was not able to carry them on the distant journey.

They thought that the planet was ideal for a stay but it was not because there were other species on the planet as well. In order to survive, the human soldiers formed an alliance with the aliens. Now, these soldiers have to do what the aliens order them to do for the sake of their survival.

The aliens have hired the humans for their dirty work because the aliens don’t want to indulge in petty things. Craig Alanson has made the situation more serious for the human survivors in the current episode. Convergence provided the heroes a chance for survival but here the soldiers are walking right into a death trap. Perhaps the author wanted to make things much more dangerous than Failure Mode. The perfect voice of R.C. Bray has narrated dozens of books so the fans are well immune to the pitch to which they listen on this occasion.
