Patricia Briggs was not always a supporter of adding romance in action tales, here the author has changed that style and there is a lot of romance in this series. Right from Alpha and Omega we have seen romance blooming in this world where supernatural things exist in plenty. The mated werewolves fell in love long ago and since then they think that they have not been able to find peace and time to love.

Charles is actually the enforcer for his father and he has duties to fulfill because of which he has not been able to give proper time and attention to Anna. This year he has thought of taking her to Arizona so that they can spend some time together and enjoy the pleasures of life. Charles thinks that he will buy a horse for Anna because she likes it and has been waiting for that special gift for a long time.

Although they go to Arizona and start a romantic tour too the never knew that they landed in the war that had started between the fae and the human world. The fae was changing the human children with something deadly and no human was aware of their future plan. Charles and Anna get stuck in this situation because they don’t want the fae to get away with this deadly planning.

However, fighting back is not easy because the two are not with their pack this time and they are on a new land too. Holter Graham might have narrated a lot of books but this series has been given special attention by the narrator and the voice quality is more than awesome throughout.
