Dark Queen

The war between good and evil started long ago in this series and since then the only one who has been keeping New Orleans in peace is Jane Yellowrock. She has kept the evil creatures and also demon rulers away from the boundary of the city so we can consider her a hero who serves Leo and the rest of the city. Now Leo is in trouble because he has been issued a blood challenge by the emperor of the vampires living in Europe.

Losing the competition means that Leo will lose his life and also his city forever. This is one thing that Jane does not want to see because she stands for the protection of the domain. She is aware that the task is not easy at all because the rival forces are far greater and this makes the stakes go higher. Still, Jane starts working hard in order to prepare herself and the rest of her friends for the upcoming fight.

Khristine Hvam has created more impressions and expressions in the novel through narration. So the author Faith Hunter’s work has received fame and praise in this way. Don’t think that the author is following any old themes that were discussed in Junkyard War and Final Heir because Faith has the tendency to come up with something new all the time.

No one is going to deny the fact that this series has brought forward a strong female character who is trying to save everyone all the time. Jane is not scared of a fight rather she is afraid to lose those whom she holds dear.
