In a quick time, she made a decent fan following for herself with paranormal romance, paranormal military thrillers, and fantasy novels. You must find some time to try out her Shadow Game and Shadow Rider books.
The audiobook narration of Dark Illusion is done by Jim Frangione. You will thoroughly enjoy this performance which made the story more interesting. A warrior and a mage must see well beyond their facades and also embrace the bond which linked their souls. Julia Brennan at any other time could have found solace in the peaceful Sierra Mountains. But the mage then was in the race of her life. After breaking free from her family, the attempt of Julia to warn the Carpathians of the approaching threat miserably failed. It also put a target right on her back. The ones who were hunting her were quite close behind.
Isai Florea was locked for centuries in a monastery which was in the Carpathian Mountains. After that, he couldn’t believe that he found his life-mate finally, who was her missing soul. Then he also saw Julija and then her world blazed with colours. But despite their strong connection, Julija rebelled against what she saw as the intent of Isai to control her, and rejecting the bond would inhibit him from becoming a monster.
Christine Feehan is a gem of a narrator and she is lucky to have Jim Frangione narrating this Dark Illusion novel. The combo of author and narrator for the subject book worked like a charm.
