Dark Heat

Dark Heat is a paranormal romance fantasy novella. It is a prequel to the Dark Kings novel series. The book is written by Donna Grant. She is a bestselling author with more than a hundred novels to her name. Dark King is the most popular series of the author. Reaper is another brilliant series by the author and its title chapter Dark Alpha’s Claim is the one to look for. Another gripping chapter from the same Reaper series of the author is Dark Alpha’s Fury.

The audio narration of the Dark Heat novel is done by Antony Ferguson. This is the best performance of Ferguson as this time, he was flawless with his female voices too. The Dark Kings were sworn in to defend a critical, ancient legacy of dragon magic. However, their most difficult challenge was in the modern world, where the love of a woman conquered all. The book has its stories, and Dark Heat gathers all of the favourite stories of Donna Grant in Dark Kings.

There are a total of four stories in Dark Heat. Those stories namely are Dark Craving, Night’s Awakening, Dawn’s Desire, and Passion’s Claim. These short stories might not be too special or too unique, but if you are a fan of Donna Grant and especially her Dark King novel series then these stories are highly recommended for you. If one story from these has to be specifically picked then it will be Dark Craving. Passion’s Claim is also not a bad story.

The story of Dark Heat is quite formulaic. There will be dragons everywhere in the story. The audio narration was great and made it a good listening experience for all.
