Dark Desires After Dusk: Immortals After Dark, Book 6

Even vampires are getting noble in Kresley Cole’s novels; we see them trying to follow a perfect path laid for them. Again and again the lust for physical pleasures makes them feel terrible about their lives but the try to control it. Cade is one of those vampires who has lost heavily in life and now he wants to correct where is has gone wrong. The past haunts this demon again and again and he tries to correct his mistakes but it is not easy. When he meets Holly Ashwin he thinks that he has the chance to seek redemption through her. Holly on the other hand was raised among human beings and she has never confronted a vampire. We see in the girl a change through her talk; firstly when Robert Petkoff narrates her character she was afraid of the vampire. Later she realizes that Cade was actually protecting her from the dangers which try to approach her.

Not only did Holly felt pleased but she also starts to have an appeal for Cade. She starts to have a desire to have Cade in so many other ways. The desire which is there in the two is witnessed before in Dark Needs at Night’s Edge: Immortals After Dark, Book 5 and No Rest for the Wicked: Immortals After Dark, Book 3. The more both characters try to resist the temptation the more they get attracted towards the physical pleasures they are yet to enjoy. Both have goals to fulfill and it’s their duty which hinders their way towards a world of pleasures which they have started to like very aggressively.
