Jim Gaffigan has written a number of books on different things and mostly the dealing has been comic. The author has not tried to write seriously but the topic which he has selected on every occasion has been serious. These serious topics can make people bored and the book would seem to be advice in that way.

So instead of producing the book in the form of a lecture, the author has come up with new and interesting techniques. Food: A Love Story is an awesome example of the author’s creativity because he made everything so easy for people to understand. Then he came up with this idea or perhaps the observation of daily routine with his kids made him write this book.

He and his wife spend a lot of time with their kids and then they have the children of other family members like their cousins who come to their house on regular basis. This is not an easy thing to deal with because the children are quite hard to tackle. The problems which the children talk about as a daily routine can make the life of the parents, real hell on most occasions.

Some say that the author is lamenting for help in this situation but actually he has described the experience which every couple has to go through with their children. The children don’t do such things intentionally rather it is their nature to create trouble in the house. The good thing is to cope with the situation and try to adjust to it because the habits of the children cannot be changed at any cost.
