She was told that if she fights for the king then she will be given her freedom at the end of the competition.

It was a handsome offer so she accepted it also because of the fact that she had no other option in her hands. The fight was not easy because Celaena was facing the worst criminal masterminds in the country. Finally, she became the champion at the end of the competition and proved her worth in front of everyone.

It was promised that Celaena will be given freedom at the end of the trials but the king does not allow her to roam free rather she is asked to kill according to the given orders. If she says no to those orders then the people whom she loves will start dying thus she does not want that to happen.

Sarah J. Maas has also provided the main character a chance to love but her love story remains unfulfilled. Elizabeth Evans’ narration has also highlighted the love scenes to show the audience what Celaena has to sacrifice for her people. A Court of Wings and Ruin and A Court of Mist and Fury are further loaded with action and suspense for fans of all ages. These are the stories that a person of any age can understand and enjoy at the same time.
