Humans fight other humans for their goals and other things which the enemy has in possession. This has been the routine since the beginning of time, Craig Alanson changes this routine and here it is humans vs. aliens. It was the Ruhar who came to the planet earth in their supreme ship and surely they were a threat to the human race.

Humans as a result of this invasion decided to fight against these invaders but the human-technology was of no match to the alien high-tech system. They could have perished but then the Kristang showed up and assured mankind of its help. The story takes a twist when an American soldier goes in outer space to work in one of the Kristang’s starships. He very soon realizes that humans have made a very big mistake. Sadly the people of the earth don’t know any of this stuff and the hero has to convey the message as quickly as possible otherwise it would be too late. Don’t expect the pace of Breakaway or Critical Mass but be ready for the same category of action and suspense. Efforts of R.C. Bray cannot be sidelined in the narration as it is his voice that paints the action scenes better than the rest of the narrators. Bray never takes his job less seriously and this is the secret of his awesome performance.
