Claimed is a paranormal romance novel. It is the first book in the Nightwind Pack novel series. The book is co-authored by Kele Moon and Laurann Dohner. She has given bestselling romance novels in USA Today. She has written novels as an individual author and as well as a co-author. One of her most prominent novels as an individual author is Defying the Odds. Moreover, another novel that she co-wrote with Laurann Dohner is Shattered. Jessee Foudray has done the narration of the Claimed novel. It was an average performance by the novice narrator which almost ruined this book.

Brandi was first kidnapped and then subsequently released deep within the woods. She was on a harrowing run for the sake of her life, while being brutally hunted by the beasts right out of some horror movie. But then there was a much bigger threat in the form of vicious creatures in the wood. It was the deadly werewolf who saved her life. His name was Jason and he was a lot more than a man, intimidating and dangerous. On the other side, Brandi was still finding herself wanting every part of his sexy body.

When he investigated the extremely desperate screams near his secluded cabin, Jason was quite shocked to find his very own hind hunting for a human. But then he ended up much more stunned when he triggered mating heat accidentally in the charming lush woman whom he saved. Jason was quite overwhelmed with lust. He took her, binds her, and then binds her forever to him.

Claimed is a classic and intriguing wolf shifter romance story, and pretty decent as well. There might be issues with the narration but the story of the book is worth it.
