Children of Ruin

“Children of time” have ruled the minds of the listeners for a long time and giving it a second go needed an effort by the author. The expectations of the audience were raised because of the first part and people were hoping for something better than that now. Adrian Tchaikovsky like always does not disappoint the fans. The series shares with us a story that continues for thousands of years.

The terraforming program of the earth started the game first of all when a ship from earth was sent into the galaxy for a research purpose. During the research, a planet was found with some life on it. Those who landed on the new planet tried to erase the previous life on the planet so that the planet can serve as a staying place for humans. The mission was a success but on the home, planet disturbances took everyone by surprise.

For years no one thought of that space program anymore and then suddenly the people of the earth received a signal from the planet they once named Nod. Everyone thought that it was a chance to meet the people of the earth who are long forgotten on the strange planet.

So the next mission went to Nod and what they found there just terrorized their souls. The scary and mysterious look of the story and Mel Hudson’s narration makes it more effective than Children of Time and War Master’s Gate. The depth of the space and the mysterious planet Nod will never leave the mind of the listener. The life that is detected on Nod is something very hideous that could only be explained by Adrian.
