For a routine, it should be kept in mind that Julie Garwood has a habit of writing long series. Getting a book with Julie’s name on it means that the ride will not end very quickly. The author will keep you well satisfied with the stuff that would be provided to you but it would be lengthy. An orphaned princess is looking for a place to settle because many strong men want to have her as their own.
She knows that marriage is the only way she would be able to save herself but finding the right man for marriage was difficult for her. Yes, there was Colin i.e the one who saved her from abduction and received knighthood but he wasn’t very expressive in his behavior. He thought that it was his duty to protect the princess and that loving her is not an option for him.
Alesandra’s marriage is just a tag that she gets because her heart is attracted to Colin. Colin does not show any kind of love for the princess initially but when she gives him a kiss, the passion of love gets over his heart and mind. The young warrior finally decides that he is going to have the princess for himself and there would be no one would be able to stop him.
Heather Wilds’ narration has portrayed the true picture of a lover who finally admits his love in front of his mistress. The Lion’s Lady and Shadow Music do not have that much of a royal touch but these stories also serve the same purpose i.e love. This novel also gives the message that one should not delay the portrayal of love.
