The story of Carmilla is told right through the eyes of Laura just as she got further drawn into the terrifying world of pain and pleasure for which Carmilla was known.
The story is fine and worth a credit. It was somehow predictable as well. The author broke the suspense as early as the third chapter when the truth came out. Carmilla 2016 was also the finalist in The Audie Awards. The book for its quality of writing and narration is recommended.
