Broken Blood is a teen and young adult romance novel. It is the fifth book in the Dirty Blood novel series which is written by Heather Hildenbrand. The Dirty Blood is the bestselling series by the author. Witches of Half Moon Bay Series Box Set: Books 1 – 3 will probably be the best experience you will have with the author.  Another great collection of the author could be found in Witches of Half Moon Bay – Books 4 – 6.

The audio narration of Broken Blood is done by Kelly Pruner. Her voice fits perfectly with the characters of this book. Overall, it was a sensational performance that will leave a long-lasting impression on the listeners.

I thought that the worst experience of my life was to see my Werewolf boyfriend getting arrested on murder charges. But then I found myself dragged off to a cell by the people who were expected to protect me. I felt that being kept in solitary confinement as a prisoner for several weeks was the worst experience of my life.

A visitor then came there and that made me realize that I was always wrong. There were plenty of worse things than extreme torture and as well as death.

That visitor wanted to have my blood. Even worse, he wanted to get within my head. I just couldn’t let all that happen. As per the prophecy, that was the time for me to make the most impossible choice of my life.

This is a perfect book with a satisfying ending. You will love it with all the development in the story, especially after the ending of the fourth book in the series left you hanging.
